Egg Improvisation I, II and III, is a project created by Alessandro Librio (violin / viola) and Angelo Di Mino (cello), and performed within the apse of the Cathedral of Ludovico Quaroni in New Gibellina.

The project stems from the idea of creating a soundscape for this space as it was changing, that is, before, during and after the recent renovation.

The first phase of the work portrays the apse as it had been since the collapse of the ceiling of the "House of the faithful" ,which occurred in August 2004, leaving the church suggestively and dramatically in the open.

The second stage was performed in the midst of the renovation work and highlights the acoustic and aesthetic changes.

The third and final phase of the work rediscovers a place that is back in the midst of its newly found forces and which is ready to welcome back its duties.
